Una Conference 2017: Access to data is key for brokers

Allianz’s David Martin says brokers need to use their judgement when trying to keep up with technology and the changing market.

David Martin, director SME and corporate partnerships at Allianz, has urged brokers to use their judgement to decide what opportunities to take in terms of innovation.

Speaking to brokers at the Una Conference in Birmingham on 16 November, Martin argued that technological advancement is “changing at a pace we haven’t seen before”.

He further explained that 90 percent of the world’s data has been created in the last two years.

“This is massive in terms of our ability,” he noted, adding:
