Broking break: Insuring the London tube network

As the Night Tube launches today, Insurance Age takes a look at Transport for London's insurance costs.

The Night Tube will not increase the insurance costs for Transport for London (TfL), according to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request conducted by Insurance Age.

As the Night Tube starts running today (19 August), the government body said the move to open up the network on Friday and Saturday nights would not impact its insurance budget.

The weekend 24 hour service has been launched initially on the Central and Victoria lines with the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines due to be added
