Axa UK reports 7% revenue rise
However COR deteriorated slightly to 98.2% as Blanc reports pressure in personal lines broker market.
Axa UK and Ireland has reported a 7% rise in general insurance revenues, according to its financial results for the first half of 2016.
The insurer stated that its GI and healthcare revenues were £2.2bn for the time period, compared to £2.1bn last year.
According to Axa, its GI and healthcare combined operating ratio deteriorated slightly to 98.2% compared to 97.9% in the first six months of 2015. Its underlying earnings rose to £138m (H1 2015: £128m).
