NFP plans to buy more UK-based brokers over time

American consolidator recently purchased Linkfield Corporate Solutions in Birmingham.

NFP plans to increase its presence in the UK over time, according to chairman and chief executive officer Douglas Hammond.

However, the CEO stated that the US-based company did not have any plans to increase its acquisition pace in the UK, following its purchase of Birmingham-based Linkfield Corporate Solutions in May.

Hammond told Insurance Age: "NFP has been a consolidator of insurance businesses since its inception in 1998. We have acquired over 300 businesses and will continue to do so.
