Deloitte: Competition and FinTech among top issues to impact industry in 2016

Deloitte predicts regulatory initiatives around GI add-ons, Solvency II and technology will impact the insurance sector next year.

Deloitte has predicted that regulatory initiatives focused on competition, Solvency II and technological developments are among the top ten issues that will impact the insurance industry in 2016.

According to the firm's report Top 10 for 2016: Outlook for the financial markets regulation, the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) study into general insurance add-ons will lead to significant market changes for the entire industry.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
