Court documents: Gallagher's Towergate purchase plan revealed

The broker claims plans to buy Towergate, acquire an interest in Autonet and buy Iridium were diverted.

Arthur J Gallagher was investigating the opportunity of buying Towergate, according to a particulars of claim document submitted to the High Court of Justice, Queen's Bench Division, in the civil court case between Gallagher and David Ross, Mark Mugge and Chris Keey.

According to the court filing, the first meeting about the possible acquisition was held in July 2013 and the document states that Ross and Mugge were intimately aware of the opportunity.
