Legal changes lead to fewer third-party motor insurance claims
Third party injury claims drop by 10%.
Third party motor insurance damage and injury claims have been reduced for the first time in ten years, according to a report by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).
The IFoA said the reduction could be the result of legal changes which were enforced in 2013, as well as a 35% decrease in the number of claims management companies.
