Keychoice Underwriting transfers business to Towergate

Keychoice Underwriting has entered into negotiations to transfer its book of business to Towergate only two years after it was launched.

Under the terms of the proposed deal, which has not yet been completed, Towergate will take on the underwriting, pricing, administration and claims handling functions of the SSP-owned MGA.

Jonathan Davey, managing director at Keychoice, said the decision was in response to demand from members for a wider range of products that Keychoice Underwriting was unable to provide quickly enough on its own.
