Barbican acquires PI Protect
Barbican Group has bought Manchester-based managing general agency Professional Indemnity Protect.
The Guernsey-headquartered insurance group confirmed that the PI Protect brand would be retained and the underwriting team would remain in Manchester.
PI Protect has focused on UK professional indemnity (PI) for a broad range of professions and will become the focal point for the development of Barbican's UK regional professional indemnity underwriting business.
