New Direct Line logo revealed ahead of sale

Direct Line Group logo

RBSI has plumped for a new brand identity following its name change to Direct Line.

The imminent introduction of the new logo, right, comes as the bank-owned insurer gears itself up for the mandatory sale following the bailout of RBS in 2008.

The new logo is for the Direct Line Insurance Group holding company and RBSI will maintain the phone logo for the Direct Line brand.

It is expected that the rebranding will be completed next week when the final version of the new logo will be revealed.
