Agreement reached over low value road traffic accident injury claims

Industry experts have welcomed the Ministry of Justice's (MoJ) new claims process for low-value road traffic accident personal injury claims.

In a letter to stakeholders, Michael Willis MP, deputy to the minister of the MoJ, said the parties reached a broad agreement on the detail of the new scheme, which aims to streamline personal injury claims valued at between £1,000 and £10,000.

He said: "This will reduce the time taken to settle disputes by setting fixed time limits and costs for settling

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
