Independent legal expenses provider MSL has launched an online quote system that allows brokers, insurers and intermediaries to register claims and create new policies in an automated, paperless environment. Called MSL Connect, the system was built by the firm's in-house IT team. Currently, more than 90% of MSL's intermediary and insurance clients are using the online site, replacing previous paper-based methods.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
