Berkeley Independent Advisers - a subsidiary of Berkeley Berry Birch - has set up a partnership with Paymentshield to offer general insurance products to its members. Paymentshield will offer BIA members access to its buildings and contents insurance as well as mortgage payment protection insurance. BIA members who have not received Financial Services Authority authorisation for general insurance by January 2005 will not be able to sell Paymentshield products.

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin
