The Swinton Group is merging with internet motor insurance broker its4me.co.uk. Swinton and its4me have been trading as sister companies under French insurer MMA. The merger increases Swinton's policy book to 2.25m. With 120 employees, Norwich-based its4me plc was founded in February 2000 and has handled over 26m on-line quotations since its inception. According to a Swinton spokesman, Its4me will continue operating from Norwich.
