Mike Williams, chief executive of the British Insurance Brokers'Association, used his opening speech to warn brokers against training
companies selling regulation compliance.
Mr Williams noted that many companies are currently approaching brokers,
giving their view on regulation and promising to ensure compliance.
However, he pointed out: "These companies are trying to sell their wares
and the fear factor is being wielded."
