The threat of hurricanes in the Atlantic region will remain high for decades, a report by a leading physicist has warned. The white paper, published on behalf of reinsurance intermediaries Carvill, has predicted hurricanes will continue to pose a serious risk for a minimum of 10 to 20 years, despite a lull in 2006.
