Markel International has launched a limited-liability partnership members' management liability product designed to protect the members of LLPs against commercial risks. The insurer claims that, although members of LLPs face similar exposures to directors of limited companies, until now there has not been an insurance product to address these risks. Markel's product will provide cover for civil, regulatory, insolvency and criminal claims, and will offer broad cover to all subsidiary and service
