Underwriting agency in sight for Broker Network.
Diane Smyth reports from The Broker Network conference, held in Stratford at the beginning of March.
The Broker Network is launching an underwriting agency, with Axaproviding capacity and 20% reinsurance.
Broker Network products will be made available through its underwriting
room, which currently includes insurers such as Axa and Norwich Union.
The network will initially concentrate on commercial package policies,
starting with a shops and offices product.
Grant Ellis, managing director of The Broker Network, said he hopes to
offer the first products by the first quarter of next year and
