Equestrian Underwriting Agencies has offered to help brokers leftwithout an underwriter, following Norwich Union's decision to withdraw
from the equestrian market.
Norwich Union currently underwrites 37,000 equestrian policies, covering
10,000 individual policies and 17,000 policies in schemes. The insurer
giant has stated it will no longer write new equestrian business from 1
July and will cease to renew existing contracts from 1 September. The
policies will not be transferred to an alternative
