The Financial Services Authority has appointed Margaret Cole, a partner in the London office of international law firm White & Case, as its director of enforcement. A specialist commercial disputes lawyer, with particular experience in banking litigation and insolvency matters, Cole also famously led the litigation for the recovery of the Maxwell Companies pension funds on behalf of the liquidators, securing a global settlement restoring the missing pension funds.
