Corporate failures have fallen by 8.8% during the first three months of 2007, with 430 fewer failures than were recorded during the same period in 2006, according to Experian. This is in stark contrast to the picture in 2006, when the UK recorded its highest annual number of corporate failures - 20,067 - since it began reporting on the insolvency landscape in 1997.
