Say the name John O'Roarke and most people will think Churchill Insurance. Mr O'Roarke will probably never be able to escape the link with that name and he probably wouldn't want to either.

However much has happened since Mr O'Roarke - now managing director of LV's general insurance business - joined the newly founded Churchill Insurance in 1990 as finance director, before becoming managing director in 1998.
