Norwich Union (NU) has yet to decide the fate of BTE Lawline, the last vestige of its defunct Hill House Hammond (HHH) business.
The insurer refused to be drawn on the future of the before-the-event motor legal expenses line, which employs 27 full-time staff. However, a spokesman indicated it had received an approach for the NU subsidiary, and that a decision would be made "in the next month or so".
