Anthony Gould talks to John Kitson, the man now heading up the broking arm of the UK's largest general insurer, Norwich Union, to find out his views on the future of the sector and what brokers can expect from the insurance giant under his management
John Kitson recently stepped into the hot seat at Norwich Union (NU) as intermediary business director - a role synonymous in recent times with the respected Ken Wallace who retired in May last year. It is never easy stepping into someone else's shoes, but following a period of rapid change atop the insurer, brokers will welcome the period of consistency that his appointment signifies.
