On the horizon
The reaction in the wake of the Court of Appeal's decision to abolish compensation payments for pleural plaques claims has highlighted the stakes involved for the insurance industry and as Gary Hyndman reports, it looks like a definitive and final ruling could finally be on the horizon
The press has been full recently of Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillip's recent ruling that pleural plaques do not constitute damage for the purpose of a personal injury claim and as a result should not be compensatable.
