There has been a clear shift of focus from motor to home insurance in terms of products over the past few weeks, with many insurers launching home related policies. Modus has come up with one for bespoke non-standard risks and Axa has decided to go for an online solution.

The start of summer has also sparked a trend in holiday home insurance products, with Biba teaming up with Intasure to release a holiday home scheme and Plum Underwriting adding both landlords and holiday home products to its range.
