ECIC opens up contractor policy to lighter hazards

electrician

The Electrical Contractors’ Insurance Company (ECIC) has opened up its commercial contractor combined policy to brokers targeting lighter hazard building services contractors.

The specialist insurer said the development makes it easier and faster for clients to access its team of underwriters for immediate decisions on cover to help brokers maximise the opportunities in construction work.

ECIC stated that brokers will be offered tailor-made cover and quotes based on the individual risks represented and that the development was part of a move to offer a broader range of cover for brokers targeting general contractors with commercial combined cover.
