Product: BGL to tackle online fraud with data hub
BGL Group has moved to offer insurers improved levels of fraud protection by verifying all Budget and Dial Direct van insurance customers through an in-house data hub. This will be used in combination with checking against a ‘block list’ of past applications that have previously been declined.
The company claimed that the move, already implemented for private car insurance customers earlier this year, will increase the verification of customers’ information at point of quote and prevent any suspicious applicants from completing a purchase.
