Products: Product protects against data theft by employees
A new product that could detect employees accessing and distributing sensitive company data has been launched.
Cyber Protect has been set up by Marchant Mckechnie Insurance Brokers under the banner of Digital Forensic Insurance Services with the assistance of former Smart and Cook CEO and Axa customer services director, Paul Meehan.
Stephen Marchant, director at Marchant McKechnie, said that the policy, underwritten by Zurich, would cover clients for the cost of forensic investigation, which could run in to the tens of thousands of pounds.
It will cover theft of electronically-held intellectual property
