Integro Insurance Brokers’ president, international operations, John Sutton explains the firm’s buying strategy and how it is getting to grips with integrating its latest acquisitions

Integro began its rise to prominence in the UK retail market in 2012 by buying Colchester-based entertainment industry specialists Allan Chapman & James Insurance Brokers (ACJ). The following year’s acquisition of entertainment and sports specialist Doodson Broking Group multiplied the effect.

It was the start of a consolidation wave which has seen Integro become a noticeable name in the UK general insurance broker market. Insurance Age has reported on 10 further purchases in the following years
