It's still a battle to survive out there

It was reported recently that Norwich Union (NU) might abandon its stance on non-exclusive quotes for commercial business and produce rules on, and in what circumstances, it will give broker exclusivity. This is a difficult area for insurers, who would need the wisdom of Solomon to get it right and avoid upsetting everyone other than the broker who gets the inside track.
