The Chartered Body Alliance launches

The CII teams up with other professional bodies to promote professionalism in financial services.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has joined forces with two other professional bodies with the aim to enhance and sustain the level of professionalism and trust in the financial sector.

The Chartered Body Alliance includes the CII, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and the Chartered Banker Institute and was launched to help consumers recognise the benefits of using qualified sector professionals.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
