PE firm Sovereign Capital to target brokers in the UK
Statement follows deal backing broker MBO in Ireland.
UK private equity firm Sovereign Capital has confirmed it is interested in brokers in the UK, following its backing of the management buy-out of Irish company Arachas Corporate Brokers.
Matthew Owen, partner at Sovereign, told Insurance Age that the firm's investment in Arachas represented its first insurance distribution investment and its third investment in the broader insurance services market.
