County Group buys Wrexham Insurance Services

Deal is broker's third acquisition in Wales in the last 18 months.

The County Group has purchased Wrexham Insurance Services for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 2004, Welsh broker Wrexham Insurance works in both personal and commercial lines and its annual premiums are £1m.

According to County, one of the previous owners, Robert Gabriel, is taking retirement while the other vendor, Dennis Seward, will remain as branch director alongside the existing staff.

Within the last 18 months County has made two other acquisitions in Wales, Brady & Jones in Colwyn
