
Brendan McCafferty joins Axa as insurance CEO

Axa has hired Brendan McCafferty as CEO, Axa Insurance, intermediated and direct.
McCafferty most recently worked as CEO of Flood Re, where he set up and launched the industry-backed initiative to make flood insurance more affordable and accessible for those living in flood prone areas.
In his new role, he will be reporting to Axa UK group CEO Amanda Blanc.
She stepped up to her present position in July and said at the time that she would look to recruit a replacement.
McCafferty will assume
