FSCS details how it will compensate Enterprise customers

Motor policies with Enterprise to be terminated by 26 October.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has confirmed that it is paying Enterprise Insurance indemnity claims now and is preparing to cover the premium for customers from 26 October, starting with motor insurance.

The regulator noted that it has been working closely with the provisional liquidator Freddie White of Grant Thornton to decide how to best compensate consumers.

Enterprise was ordered to stop writing new business in July this year, when the Gibraltar Financial Services
