FCA sends message to SSP brokers
The regulator says brokers need to remain compliant despite SSP's system outage.
SSP has sent its brokers a message from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), reminding them of their duty to remain compliant despite the recent service outage.
The message from the regulator informed brokers that they are still expected to complete their client money calculations on time.
The statement from the FCA read: "The FCA is aware of a systems outage at Software Solutions Partners (SSP) that may affect your ability to ensure ongoing CASS compliance.
"Firms are reminded of their duty
