SSP outage unlikely to be solved today

Software provider says it has informed the FCA and MIB about the service interruption.

SSP has informed its brokers that its systems will not come back on today (1 September) as it had expected.

In a note to brokers seen by Insurance Age, the software house advised it had been in contact both with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) to inform them about the current service interruption.

The note read: "As part of this, we have explained the impact this is currently having on your businesses' operations and the potential effect on both FCA
