Flint Insurance refinances with RBS

Bag of money

Regional broker plans to grow through acquisitions.

Flint Insurance Group has made a refinancing deal with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to support its appetite to grow the business through acquisitions.

Brothers Darren and David Taylor bought the regional general insurance broker firm in 2012 following an MBO.

The broker stated that since the MBO the business has been transformed into a commercial insurance specialist, growing gross written premium by over 30%.

Flint Insurance employs 88 staff from their headquarters in Orpington and its offices
