Simply Business “thrilled” with Aquiline deal

CEO Jason Stockwood says new deal will allow the broker to grow.

Simply Business CEO Jason Stockwood is "thrilled" at private equity firm Aquiline's investment in the broker.

He told Insurance Age that the deal, which is believed to be worth north of the £120m reported this weekend, would enable the digital broker to "develop more products, more markets and allow for investment in our technology".

"We're going to be doing more but faster and more aggressively," he stated.
