Brokers urged to avoid falling behind when Flood Re launches

CEO Brendan McCafferty wants brokers to make sure the proposition is available to their customers.

Brendan McCafferty, chief executive officer of Flood Re, said brokers should focus on making sure they are not disadvantaged by insurers when Flood Re is launched at the start of April this year.

He told Insurance Age: "If I were a broker right now I'd be asking insurers when I'm going to get this proposition. And then I'd be asking them if they are deploying Flood Re through their other channels first, because they are."

According to McCafferty, many insurers are planning to make the Flood Re
