Hastings to focus on growth in home

CFO Richard Hoskins says broker will optimise its business through price comparison websites.

Richard Hoskins, chief financial officer at Hastings, said the broker would continue to focus on growth in motor and home following the release of its financial results for the nine months to September 2015.

The company has seen a rise in gross written premium (GWP) to £454.3m (9M 2014: £359.8m) and an increase in revenue to £350.2m (9M 2014: £295.4m).

Hoskins told Insurance Age that the firm had exceeded 2m customers.
