Ageas says Tobas won't change

Insurer says it has adopted principles of Insurance Act early.

Ageas has said it has adopted the principles of the Insurance Act and confirmed to its brokers that there will be no change to its Terms of business arrangements (Tobas) as a consequence of the Act.

Experts have previously warned that Tobas will need to be changed before the Insurance Act comes into force in August 2016.

However, insurers have insisted that they are "comfortable" with the Toba changes.
