Nimmo takes over as Lockton UK boss

Promotion follows Mike Hammond's appointment as executive chairman of Lockton International.

Lockton has promoted Neil Nimmo to chief executive officer of Lockton Companies in the UK and Lockton International Holdings.

Nimmo joined Lockton in 2007 and his current role is as deputy CEO of Lockton's international operations. He has previously worked as managing director at Marsh.

He will succeed Mike Hammond who has been appointed executive chairman of Lockton International, the operating business for all of Lockton's companies outside of the United States.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
