Towergate backer Highbridge invests in Price Forbes
Deal sees Highbridge take majority stake in the Lloyd's broker.
Highbridge Principal Strategies has invested an undisclosed sum in Lloyd's broker Price Forbes & Partners.
The transaction will see Highbridge take a majority stake in Price Forbes and is subject to regulatory approval.
Price Forbes & Partners is an independent, specialist Lloyd's broker that employs over 250 people.
The broker's specialisms include aviation, cargo, casualty, construction, marine and mining.
Highbridge was the main driver behind the Towergate takeover deal, confirmed in February
