Pen Underwriting buys Evolution Underwriting Group
Gallagher-owned MGA says it will benefit from Evolution's online trading platform.
Pen Underwriting has bought Kent-based SME specialist Evolution Underwriting Group for an undisclosed sum.
Mark Armitage, managing director of Arthur J Gallagher-owned managing general agent (MGA) Pen Underwriting, described Evolution as a "like-minded service-driven supporter of giving brokers access to experienced underwriters".
He highlighted the importance of Evolution's online trading platform, which would help broaden Pen's spectrum of commercial business.
