The head of Oamps UK left the broker in December following the integration of Oamps into Gallagher.

Arthur J Gallagher has confirmed that Oamps UK chief executive Howard Pearson left his position in December last year.

Pearson joined Oamps UK in 2011 and prior to that he was the retail managing director of Giles Insurance Brokers.

Oamps is owned by Gallagher, following a deal where the broker bought all of Wesfarmers' insurance broking operations in 2014.

According to Gallagher, Pearson played an important role in the integration of the Oamps teams into its new parent company.
