MIB and DVLA launch MyLicence

Service will give insurers access to customers' driving history data.

The Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) have launched a service that will give the motor insurance industry access to accurate driving history data.

According to both parties, MyLicence will enable insurers to get data that will help them assess risk and prevent fraud when dealing with new customers or renewals, by using the client's driving licence number.

All data will go through an MIB Hub that is expected to receive and respond to tens of millions

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
