Fewest motor injury claims in Scotland

Inverness and Aberdeen top the list.

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) has reported that areas in Scotland have the fewest third party motor insurance injury claims in relation to population density in all of England, Scotland and Wales.

While London is a hotspot for motor injury claims, Inverness and Aberdeen are the areas where the fewest claims are reported.

Out of the ten best places in England, Scotland and Wales, six are areas in Scotland with Dundee, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy and Falkirk and Stirling also on the list

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
