Oamps chief: It's "business as usual"
Howard Pearson confirms that the Lloyd's broker was not part of the IAG deal with Wesfarmers.
Oamps UK chief executive Howard Pearson has confirmed that its "business as usual" at the Wesfarmers-owned broker.
This week Wesfarmers announced that it had agreed to sell the Australian and New Zealand underwriting operations of its insurance division to Insurance Australia Group (IAG) for AU$1.85bn [£1bn].
And Pearson stated that the sale does not include Wesfarmers' broking operations based in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
